We turn back the clock to revisit songs from our youth and explore how goth has changed over the decades.

Everywhere I go Y2K and 90's nostalgia seems to follow. We'll be exploring the socio-cultural conditions of the modern day that may have led to this yearning for the past, as well as the music, culture and fashion of the goths that came before us. We'll also dive into the causes and conditions behind the ever evolving markers of goth identity construction.

The outrage over the fetishization of goth women through the male gaze is EVERYWHERE. We're going to break down the causes and conditions of subcultural commodification, the difference between sexual liberation and sexualization and how we should be gatekeeping misogyny.
